March Madness!!
"Hey, dad, I really, REALLY need some boots of my own....preferably in brown or black!"
Here we are in Wichita with three of our four grandbabies. We had a great time with them at the Wichita Zoo yesterday while Lesli had some time on her own. It was Joshua's first visit to the zoo and he loved it! The stroller served as a good cart for carrying our bags and jackets because he wanted to run, run, run! Unfortunately, Grandma didn't have a memory stick in her camera so the cute photos were lost! Joshua is maturing so much. He is a happy, well adjusted boy.
Hudson and Hannah always have wonderful litle tidbits of funny things to say. While navagating through town Phil said, "This road has no sign on it to indicate what it is." To which Hannah replied, "If you need to know where to go, Grandpa, just ask me, I'll get you there!" She called us several times to see how soon were would be getting here Thursday night. It's the reverse of "Are we there yet." I asked to talk to Lesli and she said, "Actually, I want to talk to you!" And then, "Well then, she will be here in a moment, please wait." She is quite the little secretary.
I was fixing hamburgers and asking Huddy how he wanted his doctored. After responding he finished with, "Grandma, can I tell you something?" "I sure appreciate you!". They are so precious. Not perfect, just precious!

As Jan's refrigerator magnet says, "Grandchildren are the reason we didn't strangle our teenagers."
