Christmas of a Different Kind

Our Christmas this year was certainly different. Since none of our kids could come until after Christmas, we knew our Christmas was going to be pretty quiet. We decided to do some kitchen remodeling and tiling of the space in front of the french doors where we usually put our tree so there was no tree until the 28Th! This was just fine with Papa Scrooge!!!

While our cabinets aren't finished, the project is coming along nicely and I do have my drawers in. Meanwhile, the grand kids all came New Years week. I will post some highlight photos. (My new Windows Vista computer is driving me nuts and I can't guarantee how fast they will post! Much of our most precious times were having meals at Granny's! She made us her famous roast with mashed potatoes and noodles.
